Wireless leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has beefed up its suite of prepaid load packages for the Smart Bro Plug-it USB stick modem to give subscribers the flexibility to choose the ‘bucket’ that best fits their budget and usage pattern.
Smart Broadband, Inc. (SBI), the broadband unit of Smart, announced the availability of the prepaid lifestyle 250, 350, and 450 packages, that all offer real value-for-money surfing rates and longer validity periods.
With the 250 package, a Smart Bro prepaid subscriber may avail of 15 hours of surfing, valid for 12 days. The 350 variant offers 25 hours, valid for 18 days, while the 450 variant offers 35 hours, valid for 25 days.
"We know that no two subscribers will have exactly the same preference and requirement when it comes to their broadband service. These new offers expand the array of options available to our prepaid broadband subscribers, to enable them to choose the load denomination that’s best for them," said Danilo Mojica, head of Smart’s Wireless Consumer Division.
For users that prefer "unli" packages, Smart Bro still offers Unlisurf 50, which provides 24 hours of surfing for only P50. Unlisurf 100 provides two days of unlimited Internet access for P100, while Unlisurf 200 provides five days of access for only P200.
Smart Bro prepaid subscribers can avail of any of these packages by logging on to www.smart.com.ph/connect, where they can register and click on their preferred variant. They may also avail of any prepaid package through SMS via Smart Bro. A one-peso Smart Bro balance must be maintained when availing of any of the packages.
The variety and affordability available to its prepaid subscribers reinforce Smart Bro’s leadership position, using the most advancedmobile broadband technology adopted by Smart, and the widest broadband network covering the country’s major cities and municipalities.
"While we continuously fortify our networks and optimize available technologies to ensure service quality, we also strive to keep access as affordable as possible, and offering a variety of value-based prepaid options is in keeping with this direction," Mojica added.
