Small telecom player eTelco will commercially launch its broadband wireless access services in the first quarter of the year.
In a filing with the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) eTelco said it is in the final stage of negotiations with two equipment and network solution vendors and for the lease of its new office.
"eTelco has finalized the site surveys for the locations of its initial sites in the Ortigas Business Center area and lease contracts with the property owners are expected to be signed within the first quarter of this year," eTelco said.
"Equipment delivery and installation as well as commercial launch of eTelco’s BWA services are expected to commence immediately thereafter" the company added.
eTelco obtained a certificate of public convenience and necessity and provisional authority in 2006.
